Head lice are parasitic wingless insects. They live on people’s heads and feed on their blood. An adult is called a louse and is about the size of a sesame seed. The eggs, called nits, are even smaller – almost like a dandruff flake. Lice and nits are easiest to detect at the neckline and behind the ears.

Humans have been searching for ways to fight those critters since the beginning of time! Seriously, the recent epidemics in school children have brought pesticide resistant strains that are very hard to eradicate!

Keep on top of the situation by treating all the kids and adults in the home and cleaning their bedding and even car seats and sofas the same day. Get a metal comb specially designed for lice.
