Tea tree oil acne and boils treatment is becomming more and more common and worth exploring.

A boil is an inflamed area, usually based in a hair follicle, and can be caused by a physical condition such as acne, or severe dermatitis and can also result from low immunity, irritations, an illness, stress, food allergy, poor diet, shaving, plucking hairs or poor hygiene. A boil usually starts as a tender area, becoming hard and swelling, and eventually softening and forming a head. The head is filled with bacteria and the white blood cells fighting the infection (pus). Staphylococcus is the bacteria that is usually found in the pus of a boil.

The bacteria involved are those usually present on healthy skin, so the boil is an indication of low resistance to infection. It is advised not to lance the boil, because bacteria can spread to nearby skin and create new boils. Apply hot packs for up to 20 minutes at a time, throughout the day, as the heat draws more white blood cells, thereby helping to fight the infection. Do not cover with a bandaid. Wash with tea tree oil soap and apply antiseptic cream containing tea tree oil. A drop or two of tea tree oil may also be applied directly to the boil. Dab it on with a piece of clean cotton, do not rub or otherwise irritate the boil.

Procedure to be followed periodically throughout the day:

Dab some tea tree oil onto the boil with a piece of cotton to help bring it to a head, then cover with a piece of gauze. Cover the gauze with a damp washcloth, followed by a dry towel and then apply a heating pad. Leave on a low temperature for about 15 minutes. Change your dressing and reapply the tea tree oil. The oil helps bring the boil to a head while the warm compress helps pull the infection out of the skin; the tea tree oil then acts as an antiseptic and antibiotic on the bacteria in the pus. Be sure to throw away the gauze each time, and wash your hands with tea tree oil soap each time you handle the gauze or touch the boil.

Sometimes a boil’s bacteria can spread to a lymph node that is nearby. If there is a boil on the neck, check the lymph glands for swelling and tenderness. You should visit a doctor if this occurs, also if there is fever or lethargy. It’s important to learn to listen to your body and recognize when tea tree oil acne and boils treatment will be enough, and when you need the help of a doctor.

Tea tree oil is extracted from a tree known as Melaleuca. The scientific name for this essential oil is Melaleuca Alternifolia. It is an antifungal agent mostly used for various types of skin disorders. It is also added as an ingredient to beauty products, the most popular of which is face wash.

Tea tree oil acne treatment is most suitable for the cure of moderate acne. It is applied as a topical or rub-on treatment. It is recommended to use tea tree oil only externally. Although it can prove to be effective for a lot of people out there, some people show sensitivity to it.

Tea tree oil acne treatment is used to get rid of many types of bacteria including staphyloccus, eschrichia coli and shigella sonnei. Staphyloccus is responsible for causing furuncles which are very similar to pimples as they are also painful nodules that appear on the surface of skin.

This essential oil is most commonly known as a treatment for various viral and bacterial infections. It is also added to mouthwashes and other products for the treatment of mouth ulcers and other conditions. Similarly, some people use it for the treatment of dandruff, lice, yeast infection, eczema, oil spots and nail infections.

It has been found that tea tree oil acne treatment does not guarantee complete acne cure. However, it does lessen acne breakouts and cure them temporarily as do many other topical acne treatments. It is recommended to use a good quality facial wash that contains tea tree oil as a main ingredient for proper cleansing of skin and to control pimples and prevent other skin disorders.

Some people are allergic to tea tree oil especially if they have sensitive skin. You should immediately discontinue its use if you experience redness of skin, irritation or rash. There are many other acne treatments that can be used instead of tea tree oil if it hasn’t proven to be useful for you.

The skin is the largest organ of the body, it covers an area of 21 square feet (two square meters) and weighs around eleven pounds (five kilograms) in an average adult. No other organ is so exposed to infection, pollution, and injury or can be inspected so readily. It has a very complex layered structure that contains billions of skin cells, sensory cells, nerve endings, pores, sweat glands, oil glands, fibres, blood vessels, and hair roots. Bacteria, yeasts and fungi, that live.

Tea Tree Oil (a key ingredient in Zap It!) has significant antiseptic properties to fight against the majority of skin infections. It can also impede rashes caused by parasites and insects. It stops the itching and calms the inflammation normally associated with eczema, psoriasis and topical skin flares. But, the very best thing about tea tree oil is that if you have an unidentified area of pimples, patch testing with diluted tea tree or a good quality tea tree cream on a small area will not hurt it and it may well go on to cure it.

Acne — Zap It! Tea Tree Oil

Acne can strike at any age, it can be caused by stress, a hormone imbalance, pollutants, a poor cleansing routine or hereditary. Zap-it!®, with both tea tree oil and Salicylic acid (which is naturally found in several plants, such as willow, birch and wintergreen) is a safe treatment for those skin conditions that need the dead scaly skin removed so that the natural ingredients can penetrate to work more effectively.

Melaleuca oil is specifically mentioned for having antifungal, antiviral, antibacterial and acaricidal actions against skin infections such as acne, herpes and scabies in the following abstract.

-Adverse and beneficial effects of plant extracts on skin and skin disorders. Adverse Drug React Toxicol Rev. 2001 Jun;20(2):89-103.

This was the first peer-reviewed paper about the effects of melaleuca oil on acne. It concludes that the treatment of acne with melaleuca oil results in fewer side effects than a treatment of benzoyl peroxide.

-A comparative study of tea-tree oil versus benzoylperoxide in the treatment of acne. Med J Aust. 1990 Oct 15;153(8):455-8.

Salicylic acid, which is the main active ingredient in Zap-it!®, is a safe treatment for skin conditions that need the dead scaly skin removed so that the natural ingredients, such as melaleuca oil, can penetrate to work more effectively. It is naturally found in several plants, such as willow, birch trees and wintergreen leaves. Salicylic acid applied on pads reduced the number of acne lesions and was well tolerated.

-Treatment of acne vulgaris with salicylic acid pads. Clin Ther. 1992 Mar-Apr;14(2):247-53.

In this comparison study, salicylic acid was superior to benzoyl peroxide for the treatment of acne. Comparison of a salicylic acid cleanser and a benzoyl peroxide wash in the treatment of acne vulgaris. Clin Ther.1989 Mar-Apr;11(2):264-7.

-Zap It!Melaleuca oil for treatment of skin conditions caused by other organisms.

That is the beauty of such a broad-spectrum antiseptic substance, it does not matter what sort of organism caused the skin infection and associated irritation, melaleuca oil helps to alleviate it:

The way that melaleuca oil can easily penetrate the skin suggests it may be suitable for use in the treatment of fungal mucosal and cutaneous infections.

-In vitro activity of tea tree oil against Candida albicans mycelial conversion and other pathogenic fungi. J Chemother. 2001 Aug;13(4):377-83.

Unlike the normal antibacterial topical medicines, diluted melaleuca oil can maintain the beneficial skin bacteria while getting rid of the nastier strains that cause the problems.

Susceptibility of transient and commensal skin flora to the essential oil of Melaleuca alternifolia (tea tree oil). Am J Infect Control. 1996 Jun;24(3):186-9. And don’t forget the viral skin infections. A 6% tea tree dilution in gel form shows significant results against reoccurring herpes labialis (Cold sores).

Melaleuca alternifolia (tea tree) oil gel (6%) for the treatment of recurrent herpes labialis Journal of Antimicrobial Chemotherapy (2001) 48, 450-451

More serious skin infections: Staphylococcus aureus is a strain of bacteria that lives naturally on the skin. When an over-growth occurs it can cause minor infections, such as pus-filled spots and boils, etc. When it becomes resistant to the strongest antibiotics that we have, it becomes known as Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) or golden-staph. This can also live on the skin without causing any problem to the host. But, when it is transferred to another less-healthy individual or it infects a wound, it can become life threatening. MRSA/Golden staph, claims tens of thousands of lives every year. Melaleuca oil has been shown to inhibit and even destroy it, both in vitro and in vivo.

Passed down from generation to generation, many home treatment head-louse remedies have stood the test of time and can be quite effective at ridding your house of the bothersome pests. Most of these remedies require multiple treatment applications to be completely successful, but many feel the extra effort is well worth avoiding harsh chemicals and a possible allergic reaction.

Home treatment head-louse remedies may incorporate the use of several common and inexpensive household items, all of which are safe and non-toxic. Here are some helpful tips for safely and effectively ridding your house of a lice infestation:

- Before beginning treatment, the hair should be washed normally, blown dry with hot air and then brushed vigorously using a bristled brush to loosen nits, removing the rest by hand after treatment.

- Combine equal amounts of oils of lavender, geranium, and tea tree with a base of olive oil. Massage the mixture into the scalp, loosening the nits or eggs, allowing them to be easily removed by hand or with a fine-toothed comb. Flea combs work better than most of the combs that come in lice removal kits.

- Combine olive oil, tea tree oil and shampoo, coconut oil, and sweet almond oil. Apply to the scalp and hair, leaving in place for one hour before rinsing with hot water and shampooing again.

- Baby oil and equal amounts of vinegar may be applied to the scalp and massaged through the hair. Leave on the hair and cover the head with a shower cap for one hour before using regular shampoo.

- Massage petroleum jelly all over the scalp and hair, one of the messier home treatment head-louse remedies, but effective at smothering the lice. It will be difficult to rid the hair of the jelly, usually requiring numerous shampoos before it will be completely clean. Try using flour to absorb some before shampooing. Mayonnaise may also be used in a similar fashion.

- Perhaps the simplest home remedy is preventing an infestation altogether by teaching children simple proactive approaches, such as not sharing personal items with friends, or trying on hats in stores, or coming in contact with another person’s hair.

If you are ever in doubt about any home treatment head-louse remedies, simply ask your doctor for their recommendation as to whether or not the method is safe or effective. Some very unorthodox and potentially dangerous myths exist about removing head lice. One should never, ever use kerosene or gasoline or isopropyl alcohol as a method of removing lice, as serious injury may result. Also, veterinary products for the removal of fleas and ticks should never be used, as well as any type of lawn-care chemicals.

Home treatment head-louse remedies may need more than one application and should be coupled with treating the whole house to avoid chances of a re-infestation. All clothing, towels, and bedding should be washed in water hotter than 130 degrees Fahrenheit or 55 degrees Celsius and then dried on the hottest dryer setting. Add tea tree oil to the hot water for some extra insurance. All carpets and throw rugs should be thoroughly vacuumed, and hair care items should be either discarded or soaked in rubbing alcohol for at least an hour.

Nail fungus is never a nice problem to have. It can affect both the toenails and fingernails. Today there are many nail fungus remedies that are proven to be successful in the treatment of the condition. These include natural remedies, over the counter medications, and prescription drugs. Which is best for you will depend upon the degree to which your nails are infected.

Before you begin any treatment it is essential to ensure correct hygiene and cleanliness standards. Your nails need to be kept trimmed and be given as much air as possible. Bacteria thrive in warm, moist and dark locations. You should change your socks at least twice a day and after each time you take your shoes off. It is better to wear cotton socks over those that have a man-made fibre. Wash your feet every morning and evening.

One of the best remedies is tea tree oil. This product has helped many people get rid of various fungal infections. As with any medication it is always important to follow the guidelines that are given so that you know you will get the best outcome.

There are home remedies available such as using vinegar, tea tree oil, or turmeric powder but these will generally take longer to be effective than a chemical based treatment. You could choose a natural remedy if the extent of the problem is not so severe. This generally involves soaking the feet or toes in a solution on a daily basis for anywhere from ten days to one month.

If you find that the condition is actually getting worse and not better then you need to make an appointment to see your local doctor. They will prescribe stronger drugs or ointments that can have a more dramatic healing quality.

It is important to understand that there is a lot of choice open to you to get rid of the nail fungus. It can be cured without too much problem or stress.

Head lice are parasitic wingless insects. They live on people’s heads and feed on their blood. head lice is very common problem. Many people get head lice in the United States each year. Head lice are tiny (pin-head sized) grey-brown, wingless insects, which live by sucking blood from the scalp. Their eggs are known as nits and they are laid glued to the base of hairs, and look like tiny white specks. The eggs hatch after 7 to 10 days, and 10 to 14 days after hatching the lice are mature and between 2 and 4 mm long (the size of a sesame seed). Head lice are common in schoolchildren, particularly between the ages of 4 and 11, but anyone with hair can catch them. The earliest and most common symptom of a head lice infestation is itching, particularly in the area behind the ears and at the nape of the neck.

Intense scratching may lead to secondary bacterial infection. Head lice can’t live on pets, such as cats or dogs. There are a number of very effective treatments for head lice. The most important step in treating head lice is to treat the person and other family members with medicine to kill the lice. Malathion works as well as other agents used to kill lice. Malathion must be left on for at least eight hours for it to work. Pyrethrin and permethrin are quite safe to humans. Lindane, however, can be toxic.Permethrin may work better than lindane, though most trials were done before permethrin was widely used and resistance to the drug developed. Pyrethrins are used as a 0.33% shampoo or mousse. Never use gasoline or kerosene. These products can be extremely dangerous.

Aromatherapy has been frequently used to treat for lice, but this has not been confirmed as a viable treatment. Herbal treatments ( tea tree oil) are sometimes used to treat head lice. Avoid head-to-head contact common during play at school and at home. Do not lie on beds, couches, pillows, carpets, or stuffed animals that have recently been in contact with an infested person. Do not share clothing, such as hats, scarves, coats, sports uniforms, or hair ribbons. Don’t leave the shampoo or rinse in hair longer than directed. Rinse hair well after the treatment. Regular combing of hair using the bug-busting method can help with early detection as well as treatment. If your child has long hair, tie it back as this helps to reduce the likelihood of contact between their hair and that of an infected child.

Head Lice Home Remedies Tips

Wartrol is a natural homeopathic way to get rid of genital warts without burning, freezing or laser surgery. You can buy this effective home remedy without a prescription, so you can buy it straight over the pharmacy counter. With all Wartrol ingredients coming from natural sources, you really can experience fast relief from genital warts symptoms and outbreaks without the need for harsh chemicals or topical creams.

Many people may feel a little embarrassed to ask a doctor how to get rid of genital warts. The unsightly, fleshy growths that begin to appear on or around the sexual organs could be genital warts. Even though they may have appeared recently, you may have contracted the virus several months prior to the outbreak.

Genital warts are contracted by sexual contact with a partner who is infected with the human papilloma virus and are generally painless, although some people may experience itching or bleeding. Genital warts are extremely contagious. This means even just scratching at your warts could spread them to other parts of your body quickly. The obvious solution is to get rid of genital wart growths as quickly as possible.

The virus is able to remain dormant in your body for several months before any symptoms appear. In some people, symptoms may not erupt at all visibly, but your doctor will be able to locate any minute eruptions with a colposcopy, which is a magnifying instrument that allows your doctor to view any tiny growths that you can’t see with your eyes alone.

In many cases, your doctor may suggest burning or freezing the warts off, but in some people, the warts can re-appear as the viral source of the warts is never dealt with when removing the growths. In fact, there is no known cure for the virus, but it is possible to reduce the incidence of wart outbreaks to almost zero.

Wartrol is a homeopathic formula designed to assist your own body’s immune system and healing functions to overcome the symptoms of genital warts quickly.

You simply spray the remedy under your tongue for the fastest possible absorption into the blood stream. Made from all-natural products, the occurrence of repeat outbreaks of genital warts is reported to be the lowest compared to other forms of treatments.

Even in severe cases, people who have used Wartrol report amazing results in getting rid of genital warts naturally and painlessly.

Most other genital warts treatments contain high levels of tea-tree oil, which is still a natural substance, but may be responsible for causing scarring of the tissue around where your warts manifested. Wartrol contains no tea-tree oil, the manufacturers choosing instead to use equally effective ingredients that really work without adding the harshness of tea-tree oil.

So if you’re looking for a chemical-free, natural way to control your genital warts symptoms quickly and easily using a homeopathic remedy that’s proven to work, then you can’t go past Wartrol.
